The platform acts as a robust tool for managing and organising containers. It serves as a centralised storage system, allowing you to store important information and images related to containers. This article shows how to add images on the platform
Images of containers are used for a variety of reasons:
- To provide a visual representation of where and how the sensor was installed.
- To capture container (container type, container ID number etc...)
- To showcase the environment surrounding the container. This is especially useful for troubleshooting potential connectivity problems.
When installing the sensor, it is essential to take and upload images that cover all three aspects to each container on the platform.
- Log into your Superfy Account.
Upon logging into the platform, you will be automatically taken to the Collections module. Otherwise, navigate to the Collections module located on the top left-hand side of the screen.
- Click on the Search ( ) icon located on the top right-hand side of the Map View. Search for a container using one of the following.
- Asset
- Sensor Serial Number
- Asset Serial Number
- Location ID
- Street/Location
- The map will centre to this container location. Click on the Container icon to view Container Data.
You also have the option to utilise the Zone Explorer, Asset Management to conveniently locate and search for a container. To learn more, click Here
On the Container Map & Data tab on the pop-up screen located on the right-hand side, scroll down to find Images.
- Click Add Image
Please note that the maximum file size is 50MB
- Click on Click to Browse to select an image from your computer and upload it.
- Add a Title
- Add a brief Description of the image
- Click Save
- Simply click on Add Image to add more images and follow the steps mentioned above. It's a convenient way to enhance your asset management by including detailed visuals.
