In this article, we will guide you through the process of replacing the batteries in the G2 Fill Level Sensors.
STEP 1:
Remove the back enclosure cover.
Ensure that the screws are kept within their respective holes, as there are two different lengths (2 longer screws go on the left side nearest black board)
STEP 2:
Remove both batteries and discard safely.
STEP 3:
Install the 2 new batteries in the G2 Fill Level Sensor. Ensure you install them correctly. Keep the Black Board on the left side, install both batteries with Black Side upwards and at the Positive (+) side.
STEP 4:
In most instances, the G2 Fill Level Sensor will be turned ON automatically, and you will hear beeps right after installing the new batteries. However, if you don't hear any beeps, it means that the G2 Fill Level Sensor was turned OFF and will need to be manually turned ON.

STEP 5:
Re-assemble the back cover.
Ensure that the screws are kept within their respective holes, as there are two different lengths (2 longer screws go on the left side nearest black board). Torque the screws to 7~7.5kgf.cm to ensure the G2 Fill Level Sensor remains waterproof.
STEP 6:
Before leaving the location of the sensor, take a Manual Reading to ensure the device is ON. Check on the Platform or APP (on the Last 50 Data) and make sure the data from the Manual Reading is coming through.
