How to Install and Turn on the Superfy Smart Compactor.

The guide below provides step-by-step instructions on how to install and activate the Superfy Smart Compactor.

How to Installation the Smart Compactor

Check surface is suitable for fixing machine into ground.

Ensure that there are no services including;
Electrical cables, Gas lines, Water or Drain Mains that can be interfered with.
Do not install on uneven or on inclined surface. Ensure machine is on a level surface.
Use Levelling Pads as required on unlevel surface
Do not install indoor.
Install with access to daylight, preferably sunlight.
Ensure area is safe from bystanders during installation. Fence off as required.
TYPICAL INSTALLATION DETAIL.
1. Position Unit in the desired orientation & ensure Service Door can open fully & General Public can access waste feed area.
2. Drill Size 6/6.5mm bit into the concrete through the 4 holes provided in the Galvanise base.
3. Use minimal 7.5x60 Self Tapping Concrete Screws on suitable Concrete base. (T30 Bit)

NOTE IF RELOCATING UNIT

  • Ensure Ground are is made safe
  • Ensure all hazards are removed

How to Turn On the Smart Compactor

  • Open main Service Door
  • Remove Wheel Bin
  • Using 10mm socket & ratchet, remove M6 Bolt retaining the Side Access Panel from inside (orange fastener highlighted)
  • Remove Side Service panel 
  • Remove Rear Panel using 10mm socket & ratchet to remove M6 Bolt as shown.(Note chassis cutout to show M6 bolt for clarity)
  • Close Front Service door
  • Turn on Control Box using a small flat head screwdriver by downwards flick of the switch shown orange to the ON  Position.
  • Check LED function on the front of the unit.
    (NOTE: Unit will Compact with Service Door & Flap Closed.)
  • Refit Rear Panel & Secure with M6 Bolt
