The Detailed Analysis report provides valuable insights and actionable recommendations by analysing historical data and trends. This article shows how to utilize the report.
The Benefit of the Detailed Analysis Report
- Improve and create a more efficient collection service.
- Obtain comprehensive waste data to reduce overflows.
- Monitor and reduce operational costs associated with waste management and recycling programs.
- Obtain quantitative analysis of various waste streams.
- Enhance your understanding of waste patterns to improve your ability to predict events that lead to increased waste generation and identify the types of waste being produced.
- Log into your Superfy Account
Upon logging into the platform, you will be automatically taken to the Collections module. Otherwise, navigate to the Collections module located on the top left-hand side of the screen.
- Select Reports and from the drop-down menu, select Insights

- Ensure to the click Submit Filter button when using any of the above filters
- Hover over the Information icon (i) next to each section for explanation of data calculations;
- Waste Collected (weight)- total waste collected from selected time range.
- Volume Collected - total volume collected from selected time range.
- Overflows - total overflowing containers before collection within selected time range.
- Collection Efficiency (%) - calculated by number of times a collection occurs at or beyond your pre-set fill level (usually 80%) divided by number of total collections, shown as a percentage.
- Saving Potential (%) - this is the savings that could have been realised if the container was collected with 100% efficiency.
- Total Collections - Total collections within selected time range. This includes actual and assumed collections.
- Average Fill Level (%) at Collection - average fill at collection based on selected date range from selected containers.
- Collections Made - total collection occurred according to its fill level at collection. Use this metric to manage frequency of bin collections.
To increase waste collection efficiency, increase the number of bins collected above 50%.
The Result table contains more detailed information,
- Sensor Management - lists container names of applicable sensors.
- Last collection - provides date on when the last collection was made for each container from selected time range.
- Collection Level - average fill level at time of collection, shown as a percentage, for each container from selected time range.
- Number of Collection - total number of collection made for each container from selected time range.
- Capacity - total volume of container.
- Total Volume Collected - total volume collected at selected time range.
- Est. Weight - estimated weight of waste collected for each container from selected time range. This is based on density entered in Inventory > Others > Waste Type.
- Unused Capacity - available capacity until bin reaches 100% of total volume.
- Waste Type - type of waste stream for each container.
