Troubleshooting False Fullness Level Reading on G2 Fill Level Sensor

The reason behind a False Fullness Level is typically due to inaccurate measurements of Fill Height and Fill Gap, incorrect installation, or optical sensors needing to be cleaned. This article shows how to troubleshoot False Fullness Level.

STEP 1:

Gently wipe the two optical sensors with a clean cloth, no detergent required.

STEP 2:

If false fullness level persists, firstly check the sensor is installed correctly and the two optical sensors are facing downwards towards the centre of the bin (i.e., not hitting the side of the bin/container). 

STEP 3:

Secondly, check Fill Height, Fill Gap, and Bin Volume measurement.
