Add a New User

A User on the platform can be assigned to one of the following roles: Admin, User, Driver, or Viewer. This article shows how to add a User.

Only a person with Admin rights can add, deactivate or delete a user on the platform.

 

ADMIN - full authority within the account to make changes, including managing new users and roles, manage assets, sensors, zone, tag, group, vehicle etc..


USER
- same as Admin but does not have the privilege to manage users and roles or manage waste type/waste stream etc..


DRIVER
- can access routing and collections without ability to manage assets, sensors, zone, tag, group, vehicle etc..


VIEWER
- can only read. No changes allowed.


AUDITOR
- restricted access to pages as requested by the Account owner.   Additional customisation fees may apply to implement this role (not available on all accounts). 

  • Log into your Superfy Account
  • Click on the 'Hamburger' Menu located on the top left-hand side of the screen
  • Click Users & Roles from the listed menus

  • Click on Add User

  • Enter the new user's information on the pop-up screen
    • Enter the user's Email Address
    • Enter a Password
    • Re-enter the Password

Password must be at least 8 character in length with a combination of symbol, upper, lower and numeric characters.

  • Assign a Role to the user
  • Keep the Status field as Active to enable the user's account

Changing this field to Not Active will Deactivate the user's account. Learn More

  • Enter the user's First Name
  • Enter the user's Last Name
  • Enter the user's Phone Number
  • Enter the user's Mobile Number

It is important to add a Mobile Phone number with the correct country area code (e.g. +61) otherwise the text alerts and notifications will not be sent.

  • Keep the Send Welcome Email box checked and the user will receive an email from support@superfy.com with their login credentials. 
  • Click Save
