Deactivate or Delete a User

This article shows how to Deactivate or Delete a User's access to the platform.

 

Only a person with Admin rights can add, deactivate or delete a user on the platform.

Upon logging into the platform, you will be automatically taken to the Collections module. Otherwise, navigate to the Collections module located on the top left-hand side of the screen.

  • Click on the Settings icon located on the top right-hand side of the screen
  • Click Users & Roles from the listed menus

  • On the pop-up screen, utilize the Search Bar to search for the specific user you wish to deactivate

  • Click on the user's Name
  • On the Status field, slide the the bar to deactivate the user. Status will now show as Not Active.

To reactivate a deactivated user follow the steps above and change their status back to Active.

  • Click Save

Alternatively, you can permanently Delete a user by clicking on the bin icon beside the user profile. 

To reactivate a deleted user, you must recreate their account by adding them as a New User.
